Thank you Bob Padalino and other members of the Coalition to stop the forced annexation by Fuquay Varina.  My husband and I attended the first public meeting and saw your group in action. We've been following along and have really been impressed by how much work and effort was put into this fight.  Now all that work has paid off and everyone in the subjected area owes you a big thank you.  While we are not part of the coalition, nor made a donation, we did sign the petition again the annexation as well as the petitition to stop forced annexations across NC.

Bob, with your communication & organizational skills you'd be a wonderful candidate for local politics.  You've proven to the folks in the area just how much you can accomplish and how much you care for the good of the people.   We offer our appreciation publically and hope everyone else who benefited will do the same.

The fact that we are going to have to "petition" or sign up for sewer and water service, without knowing what the cost is going to be, is completely unacceptable. If we are notified that the cost is in excess of what we can afford, we do not have any legal recourse to back out of the agreement, according to Andy Hendrick. Of course if we decide later to get connected to said services, we will be charged a much higher rate. We all need to sign the petition, and get involved to help stop this, because we do have a chance! We now have an excellent attorney, and I would like to say a big thank you to Bob Paladino for doing such a great job of organizing and mobilizing this fight right away!

I don't know about you but the more I learn the less I like it.  Tell us what you think.

The "useful link" on your homepage titled "Fuquay is first out of the gate in Move to Annex" does not work. Strange how the council members do not attend the informational meeting. And the Fuquay Independent shuts down the link to an article concerning the Annexation. This entire proposal is everything more than disturbing! I believe we all have the educatioan as well as the common sense to realize these representatives for Fuquay are..
... that's up to our own imagination! :)

TOWN HALL MEETING AT 7PM THIS THURSDAY!!!  PLEASE WEAR RED TO SHOW OUR SOLIDARITY ON THE ISSUE!
We need as many people in attendance as possible!!! Even those not being annexed may be affected by rising taxes resulting from the costs of this involuntary annexation!
LET THE TOWN OF FUQUAY VARINA KNOW THAT WE DO NOT WANT TO BE ANNEXED, AND WE DO NOT WANT HIGHER TAXES!!!

Even if you do not live in the proposed annexation area, you may be affected by rising taxes to cover the extreme costs involved in this project that were not budgeted for. If you do live in the annexation area, your property values will drop, you may not be able to sell your house, and the up front costs involved are astronomical, and absolutely unnecessary.

Please come to any and all meetings that you can, sign the petition to stop all forced annexation in NC, and let your publicly elected officials know that we do not want this!!!
